32 weeks

Here's a picture at 32 weeks....One word....NASTY!  I look like absolute crap.  I'm puffy, my feet are SWOLLEN, I have heartburn, my hips are starting to hurt, and I pee all the time.  I went to Target last night because I couldn't get my feet in my sandals....the flip flops I bought were size 11.  Yes, 11.  I'm a sasquatch.

We are going to get professional maternity pics taken on Saturday and if I don't get one decent picture I will be ticked.  I'm gonna blame my pissiness tonight on the 100 degree weather we had today....and the fact that I had to look for the remote for 45 minutes tonight after work before I could enjoy my night to myself with my feet up =)

On a more positive note, at my doctor's appointment last week everything checked out completely normal.  Normal blood pressure, weight, protein and all that good stuff.  Heartbeat was 150-160.  I now go every 2 weeks.

Chris' new job

Chris started a full-time job at the Wright County Jail a couple weeks ago.  It is a long drive (about 75 miles one way).  So we are going through the gas like crazy.  Not fun.  But, we will make it work.  He seems to really enjoy it and they really like him so far (What's not to like??)   He will be working eight hour shifts, 6 days on and 3 days off.  Right now he works 3 p.m. - 11 p.m.  Not the idea shift, but when you're low on the totem pole you do what they say until you work your way up.

His work hours make me nervous for when baby time comes.  He will either be working 3-11 or 11 p.m -7 a.m.  My mom will be staying here on when Chris is working just in case I go into labor.  I would freak if I was alone.  I'm also nervous for after baby is here and I'm back at work.  Hopefully we get into a routine that works for all of us =)

Mother's Day

This is what Paisley thinks about the new baby coming....she ate the mother-to-be card I got from Chris!

Happy Anniversary!

On April 24th we celebrated our first anniversary!  I suppose I should talk about how much we celebrated and how romantic it was; but to be honest we didn't do a darn thing!  It was Easter so we celebrated Easter in Grove City with Chris' family.  We didn't even get each other a present.  The traditional gift for the first anniversary is paper.  We did get each other a card....so that counts right?  I have to admit I got a little mad at Chris because he didn't get me a "mushy" card.  (Soooo not his thing but still).  But now I laugh at it because his message was so true to how I had been acting (pregnant and MOODY).  Here's a picture....it says "Happy Anniversary and hopefully 50 more.  Love forever now matter how CRAPPY you get"  He meant to say CRABBY.  Typical Chris!
